WALKING IN LIMITLESS GRACE (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: 2 PETER 3:9 KJV: “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

GRACE GIVES US BOLD ACCESS TO GOD: Through grace, we have direct access to the Father. We no longer need to approach Him with fear, but with confidence, knowing that we are accepted in Christ. His throne is a place of mercy, where we find help in time of need. "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need" (HEBREWS 4:16).

WALKING IN GRACE REQUIRES HUMILITY: God gives grace to the humble. When we recognize our need for Him and submit ourselves under His mighty hand, He exalts us in due time. A heart of humility positions us to receive greater measures of His grace daily. "But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble" (JAMES 4:6).

GRACE COVERS OUR PAST AND SECURES OUR FUTURE: No matter what mistakes we have made, God's grace is greater. It covers our past sins and gives us a future filled with hope. All we need is to humbly and sincerely ask God for mercy and forgiveness. We are not defined by our failures but by His grace working in us for His purpose. "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace" (EPHESIANS 1:7)

PRAYER: O Lord my God, have mercy on me and deliver me from the spirit of pride. Grant me the grace to live a humble life as I walk with you daily, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
