TOO PRECIOUS TO BE ABANDONED (PART 4)
KEY TEXT: Psalm 51:13 (KJV): “Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.”

RESTORED TO BE USEFUL AGAIN: God’s restoration is never an end in itself; it is a gateway back to usefulness. When the Lord restores a believer, He also reactivates their assignment. David, after falling deeply into sin, was not discarded but restored—and his testimony became a tool for converting others. This reveals a powerful truth: failure does not disqualify a repentant believer from service. God redeems our past and uses it as a testimony of His mercy. Those who have been restored carry a unique grace to minister healing to others. (Isaiah 61:1–3; 1 Timothy 1:12–16)
FROM BROKENNESS TO MINISTRY: God often turns a believer’s broken places into platforms for ministry. The scars of past failure become evidence of divine mercy and instruments of encouragement to others who are struggling. A restored believer does not hide their testimony; they use it to glorify God and draw others back to Him. What the enemy intended for shame, God transforms into a message of hope. (2 Corinthians 1:3–4; Joel 2:25–26)
CALLED TO SERVE WITH HUMILITY AND GRATITUDE: Restored believers serve with a deeper sense of humility and gratitude. Having tasted mercy, they no longer rely on self-righteousness but on grace. This posture keeps them dependent on God and careful in their walk. Service after restoration is marked by obedience, compassion, and a desire to glorify God rather than self. Such service is powerful and fruitful in the Kingdom. (Luke 7:47; 1 Corinthians 15:10)
PRAYER:
Father, I thank You for restoring me by Your mercy and grace. I receive grace to serve You faithfully and fruitfully. Use my life, my testimony, and my experiences to draw others back to You. I declare that my past will not silence me, and my restoration will glorify You. I am restored to be useful, effective, and impactful in Your Kingdom, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
REFLECTION:
Isaiah 6:8 (KJV): “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.”
