PRAYER WORKS: The Bible says, “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:16 KJV). If we resort to prayer and trust in God as our Plan A and not as a last resort, things will often settle quicker. Learn to lean more on God than on any man, for God has a reputation of never failing.

PRAY IN RIGHTEOUSNESS: For our prayers to become effective and avail much, the Bible emphasizes that we must be righteous. Righteousness, when paired with the prayer of faith, yields extraordinary results. Ask Elijah, and he will tell you how his prayers raised the dead and performed mighty miracles (1 Kings 17:17–24; James 5:17–18).

PRAYER IS TIMELESS: The power of prayer is not a New Testament-only phenomenon; it has always been a sure demonstration of what can be achieved when paired with faith in God. Moses prayed, and the Red Sea parted (Exodus 14:15–21). Joshua prayed, and the sun stood still (Joshua 10:12–14). From ancient times till now, through the grace of Christ, prayer remains a potent weapon that turns impossibilities into realities.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, make me a prayer addict so that I will resort to prayer both in the bright seasons and the rainy seasons of life, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

REFLECTION: Romans 10:17 KJV: “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
