THE REVIVAL OF GOD THAT LASTS (PART 5)

KEY TEXT: Psalm 51:10 KJV: “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”

REVIVAL REQUIRES INNER RENEWAL: Lasting revival begins with a renewed heart and mind. God revives those who allow Him to cleanse their hearts from sin, bitterness, and distraction. True revival is more than excitement—it is the transformation of character, attitudes, and desires according to God’s holiness.

REVIVAL IS MAINTAINED THROUGH PRAYER: A revived life is a life committed to constant communication with God. Prayer fuels the fire of revival, aligns the believer with God’s will, and strengthens spiritual sensitivity. Without fervent prayer, revival loses momentum and can become merely outward formality. Luke 18:1

REVIVAL PRODUCES TESTIMONIES: Lasting revival brings lasting impact. It is reflected in changed lives, answered prayers, and souls drawn to Christ. When God revives a believer, their life becomes a testimony that glorifies Him and influences others to seek His presence. Psalm 126:5–6

PRAYER:

O Lord, create in me a clean heart, renew my spirit, and let the revival You have begun in me manifest in every area of my life in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

Ezekiel 36:26 KJV: “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.”

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, cleanse my heart completely and renew my spirit so that Your revival will be permanent in my life in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

2. O Lord, let my prayer life be fervent and unceasing, sustaining the fire of revival in me continually in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

3. Father, let the manifestation of Your revival in my life bring testimonies that glorify Your name and draw many souls to Christ in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

4. O Lord, preserve my heart and mind from distractions, sin, and worldly influences so that the revival You release in me will last forever in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
