THE BATTLE IS GOD'S:

God fights for us, so we can stand firm in confidence. No weapon formed against us shall prosper, and no challenge is too great for Him. Our job is to trust, obey, and stand in faith, knowing that victory is already ours. "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord." ISAIAH 54:17

CONFIDENCE IN GOD'S WORD: Confidence grows when we meditate on God’s Word. The more we fill our hearts and minds with His truth, the stronger our faith becomes. His Word renews our minds, and gives us the assurance that He is always in control. "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." ROMANS 10:17

CHRIST, OUR ULTIMATE CONFIDENCE:

Our ultimate confidence is in eternal life through Christ. No matter what happens in this world, we have the promise of salvation, and an everlasting inheritance. This assurance gives us the boldness to live fearlessly, knowing that our future is secured in Him. "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." PHILIPPIANS 1:6

PRAYER: My Lord and my God, please grant me the grace to firmly put my confidence in you, knowing that you are always there, fighting every battle in my life. Help me to always study and meditate on your word with total obedience, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: PROVERBS 3:5 KJV: "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
