THE RELIABLE CONFIDENCE (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: ROMANS 15:13 KJV: “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”

CONFIDENCE COMES FROM KNOWING WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST:

The world may try to shake our identity, but we are children of God, chosen and loved. Our worth is not based on what others think, but on what God has declared over us. "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light." (1 PETER 2:9)

FEAR IS THE ENEMY OF CONFIDENCE:

God has given us power over fear. We are not meant to live in anxiety or insecurity. Instead, we are called to walk in faith, knowing that God has given us power, love, and a sound mind. "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." (2 TIMOTHY 1:7)

TRUST IN GOD:

When we put our trust in God, we will not be ashamed. The world may doubt us, but our confidence is not in the approval of man—it is in the faithfulness of God. He will uphold us, and in Him, we will not be moved. "They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever." (PSALM 125:1)

PRAYER: I refuse to live my life for anyone's validation. Rather, I choose to live my life to the glory of God and praise Him alone, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: 2 CORINTHIANS 3:5 KJV: “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.”
