THE QUIET STRENGTH OF PATIENCE (PART 3)
KEY TEXT: LUKE 18:1 KJV: "And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint."

PATIENCE IN PRAYER
Patience is vital in prayer, as God’s answers often come in His time rather than ours. While waiting for answers, we learn to trust Him more deeply, knowing that His delays are not denials. This patience builds our faith and reliance on Him. “Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord" (PSALM 27:14).
PATIENCE AND FORGIVENESS
Forgiveness requires patience, as it involves letting go of grudges and offering grace repeatedly. This kind of patience mirrors God’s forgiveness of our sins and invites healing in broken relationships. "Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven” (MATTHEW 18:21-22).
PATIENCE IN SERVING OTHERS
Serving others requires patience, especially when progress is slow or unappreciated. By remaining patient, we reflect Christ’s humility and demonstrate love in action. Our patient service glorifies God and blesses those we serve. "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not" (GALATIANS 6:9).
PRAYER
My Father and my God, grant me the grace to be patient in my place of prayer and in my walk with you, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
REFLECTION
HEBREWS 10:36 KJV: “For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise."
