THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING (PART 7)
KEY TEXT: Hebrews 11:1 KJV – “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD: Beloved in Christ, positive thinking positions you to expect God’s best. Your mind is the gateway through which faith flows into your life. When you consistently think in alignment with God’s Word, you begin to see beyond the present circumstances and anticipate His miraculous interventions. Faith-filled thinking produces divine expectation. It shifts your focus from problems to possibilities and allows your heart to hope for what God has already promised. Expectation is the vehicle that moves God’s blessings toward you (Psalm 27:13–14).
YOUR SPIRITUAL CONDITION:
A believer without positive expectation is like a lamp without oil — powerless. Your thoughts determine the level of your spiritual alertness and readiness for God’s move. Negative thinking leads to doubt and disappointment, while positive thinking produces patience, endurance, and hope. Remember Abraham: “For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God” (Hebrews 11:10). His positive mindset fueled expectancy that brought forth God’s promises even when natural circumstances seemed impossible.
THE VOICE OF YOUR CONSCIENCE:
Your conscience acts as the internal guide, confirming whether your thoughts are in line with God’s truth. A conscience filled with faith will remind you to remain steadfast and hopeful. Beloved, when your mind is focused on God’s promises, your conscience will encourage patience, endurance, and trust in His timing. Never let discouragement, fear, or impatience dictate your inner dialogue. ROMANS 11:1
PRAYER:
Father, help me to think with faith and expectancy. Let my mind be filled with hope and confidence in Your promises. Strengthen my conscience to encourage me toward Your will and timing, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
REFLECTION:
Romans 8:25 KJV – “But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.”
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Father, fill my mind with thoughts of faith and expectancy, that I may see Your promises manifest in my life in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen
2. Lord, deliver me from all thoughts of doubt, fear, and despair, and let my mind be anchored on Your Word in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen
3. Father, help me to maintain patience and hope, even when circumstances seem contrary, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen
4. Lord, strengthen my conscience to always encourage positive thinking and trust in Your divine timing in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen
5. Father, let my life reflect the evidence of things not yet seen, as I expect Your miracles daily in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen
