THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING (PART 5)

KEY TEXT: Proverbs 18:21 KJV – “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD: The words you speak reveal the condition of your heart. A positive thinker does not speak carelessly, because he knows that his words create realities. When your mind is filled with faith and confidence in God, your mouth will naturally speak life.

Beloved, God expects His children to align their speech with His promises. When you speak fear, you attract fear; when you speak faith, you manifest victory. Jesus said in Mark 11:23, “Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed... and shall not doubt in his heart... he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

Your relationship with God deepens when your words agree with His Word. Speak like a child of God — not as a victim, but as a victor. COLOSSIANS 4:6

YOUR SPIRITUAL CONDITION: Positive thinking must translate into positive speaking and actions. Faith that remains silent is not complete. Your declarations shape your atmosphere, and your actions confirm your convictions. When you believe that God is with you, you act boldly and fearlessly. Many believers think positively but speak negatively. They cancel their own faith through words of doubt and fear. Beloved, guard your speech, for your words are spiritual seeds. Sow words of hope, peace, healing, and divine progress. Every word you release carries power; therefore, choose to speak what heaven supports. EPHESIANS 4:29

THE VOICE OF YOUR CONSCIENCE: A positive conscience will not allow you to speak against your faith. When your conscience is aligned with the Holy Spirit, it will convict you each time your words oppose God’s promises. Train your inner man to reject negative confessions. Speak with gratitude, even in adversity, knowing that your confession determines your direction. Remember, Jesus spoke life in every situation — He called Lazarus from the grave, calmed the storm with His words, and declared victory before the cross. Let His example guide your speech and actions. Speak as an ambassador of heaven, for your words represent your faith. PROVERBS 4:23

PRAYER:

My Father, help me to speak only words that align with Your truth. Purify my tongue from negativity and fear. Let my actions reflect my faith, and let my confession continually agree with Your promises, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

2 Corinthians 4:13 KJV – “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.”

PRAYER POINTS

1. Father, fill my heart with faith so that my words will always reflect Your truth and power, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name.

2. Lord, deliver me from every habit of negative speaking that opposes my faith, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name.

3. Father, let my words and actions continually agree with Your promises for my life, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name.

4. Lord, empower me to speak words that build, heal, and strengthen others, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name.

5. Father, baptize me with the spirit of faith that my confession may command divine results, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name.
