THE POWER OF COMPASSION (PART 2)
KEY TEXT: Matthew 9:36 KJV – “But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.”

Compassion is the driving force that fuels soul winning and genuine ministry. Jesus was not only touched by the physical needs of people but also by their spiritual condition. He saw beyond their hunger and sickness and discerned their need for salvation. That is why compassion always leads to action that glorifies God and saves souls.
Beloved, many souls are fainting today, weary of sin, and wandering without direction. It takes a compassionate believer to intercede for them, preach the gospel, and support missions. Without compassion, the gospel will only be a routine activity and not a burden carried with tears. Jude 1:23
Sadly, many Christians have grown cold, ignoring the cries of lost souls. We often pursue personal blessings while neglecting the eternal destiny of others. But God is calling us back to His heart of compassion — a compassion that does not rest until souls are saved, healed, and restored. Proverbs 24:11-12
Beloved in Christ, compassion is not weakness; it is strength in action. It is the weapon by which we rescue the perishing, uphold the weak, and demonstrate the reality of God’s love on earth.
PRAYER:
Lord, baptize me with Your compassion for lost souls. Let my heart burn for evangelism and intercession, that I may never be at ease while souls perish, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
REFLECTION:
Jude 1:22 KJV – “And of some have compassion, making a difference.”
PRAYER POINTS:
1. O Lord, ignite my heart with true compassion for lost souls; let Your love move me to action and genuine evangelism, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name, Amen.
2. My Father and my God, take away every spiritual coldness and hardness of heart; give me a heart that feels what You feel and sees what You see, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name, Amen.
3. Lord Jesus Christ, empower me to rescue the fainting, strengthen the weak, and reach out to the wandering with boldness and compassion, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name, Amen.
4. O God of mercy, make me a vessel of Your compassion — let my prayers, words, and deeds bring healing, restoration, and salvation to many, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name, Amen.
