THE JUDGEMENT OF GOD (PART 2)
KEY TEXT: HEBREWS 9:27 - "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment."

THE FINALITY OF GOD'S JUDGMENT:
God’s judgment is absolute and final; there is no appeal or reversal. When He pronounces judgment, it stands firm. This is an explicit evident in the final judgment, where all will stand before Him to give an account of their lives. As the Word states, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" (HEBREWS 9:27).
THE ROLE OF JESUS IN JUDGMENT:
Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, has been given authority to execute judgment. He will judge the living and the dead based on God’s righteous standards. Jesus Himself declared, "For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son" (John 5:22). Those who reject Christ will face His righteous wrath.
THE JUDGMENT OF NATIONS:
God's judgment is not limited to individuals but extends to nations as well. Throughout history, He has judged nations for their collective sin and rebellion against Him. The psalmist writes, "For the kingdom is the Lord's: and he is the governor among the nations" (Psalm 22:28). Nations are held accountable for their actions, especially in their treatment of God’s people and His laws. REVELATION 20:11
PRAYER:
Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me in any way I have rebelled against your word. Grant me the grace to live the life worthy of eternity with you. Help me not to face your judgement at last, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
REFLECTION:
JAMES 4:4 - 'Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God."
