THE ENEMIES OF YOUR FAITH (PART 3)

KEY TEXT: 1 Corinthians 2:6 KJV: “Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought.”

Apostle Paul said we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery which none of the princes of this world knew: if they had known it, they would have not crucified the Lord of glory. They made mockery of Christ, asking who made him king of the Jews when he was given birth to by a low-class woman that was not even recognized in society. They shook their heads at him when he was on the cross, saying, he could not save himself because their reasoning of the events unfolding before them was based on human wisdom. 1 CORINTHIANS 2:7-8

Apostle Paul made us to know that the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him. The elite in the society received not the things of God because they are foolishness to them. We see how human wisdom has engulfed the entire world and has given birth to crime, adultery, homosexuality, etc. It has given rise to pastors who have exalted themselves and as a result preach messages that satisfy the tickling ears of the congregation. 1 CORINTHIANS 2:14

God has defied human wisdom several times. The creation of the world testifies the ways of God are beyond human understanding. When Moses had an encounter with God through the burning bush, the fire did not consume the bush. Human wisdom has also been defied at the age of 90 years, when Sarah got pregnant and gave birth to a child. EXODUS 3:2-5

PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ, I receive the wisdom from above from You that leads to eternal rest, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen
