THE EFFICACY OF THE BODY AND BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST (PART 4)

KEY TEXT: Revelation 12:11 KJV: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.....”

THE BLOOD SECURES VICTORY: Every believer’s victory over Satan is rooted in the blood of Jesus Christ. The devil has no answer to the blood of Jesus Christ. It was by the blood that Jesus triumphed over principalities and powers (Colossians 2:15). As we apply the blood in faith, no power of darkness can prevail against us.

THE BLOOD PROVIDES PROTECTION: The blood of Jesus Christ is a divine covering against destruction. Just as the blood of the Passover lamb preserved Israel from the destroyer (Exodus 12:13), so the blood of Jesus Christ shields believers from harm. No plague or evil can prevail where the blood is applied.

THE BODY CONFIRMS COVENANT: Jesus said, “This is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me” (1 Corinthians 11:24 KJV). Partaking of His body is a continual reminder of our covenant relationship with Him. It affirms that we are partakers of His divine nature (2 Peter 1:4) and sharers in His victory.

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, thank you for the victory you purchased for us, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen

REFLECTION:

Romans 8:37 KJV: “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. I declare, I overcome every power of darkness by the blood of Jesus Christ, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen (Revelation 12:11).

2. Father, let the blood of Jesus Christ be my covering against every evil in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen (Exodus 12:13).

3. My God and my Father, keep me faithful in the covenant sealed by Your body and blood, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen (1 Corinthians 11:24).
