THE EFFICACY OF THE BODY AND BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST (PART 1)

KEY TEXT: Colossians 1:14 KJV: “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.”

THE BODY AND BLOOD SECURE REDEMPTION: The blood of Jesus is the divine payment for our sins and our eternal freedom. The Scripture says: “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold… But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot” (1 Peter 1:18–19 KJV). His body was broken so that our lives could be made whole, and His blood was shed to cleanse and restore us unto God.

SPIRITUAL NOURISHMENT FOR BELIEVERS: Jesus Christ declared, “I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever” (John 6:51 KJV). The body of Christ is the true bread of life, and His blood is drink indeed (John 6:55). Whoever feeds on Him has eternal life and will never hunger nor thirst spiritually again.

PRAYER:

Almighty Father, thank you fo sending you Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

John 6:54 KJV: “Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Thank You Lord for redeeming me through the precious blood of Jesus Christ, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen (Colossians 1:14).

2. Lord Jesus, feed me continually with Your body and blood that I may live eternally, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen (John 6:51).

3. Father, let every chain of bondage in my life be broken by the power in the blood of Jesus, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen (Hebrews 9:14).

4. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I receive divine freedom in all areas of my life, both physically and spiritually, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen
