THE DANGER OF STUBBORNNESS (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: 1 PETER 5:8 KJV - “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”

The only antidote to stubbornness is humility, which involves surrendering one's will to God's guidance and wisdom. Humility helps to obey the voice of correction and instructions. It's easier for the humble to do the will of God and succeed in whatever they do with God. "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up." – JAMES 4:10

Humility allows us to acknowledge our limitations and submit to God's plan. When we humble ourselves, God can work mightily in our lives, bringing restoration, healing, and breakthroughs. "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise." – PSALM 51:17

BENEFITS:

Humility brings numerous benefits, including divine guidance, protection, and favor. When we walk in humility, we experience God's peace, joy, and fulfillment in our lives. "For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called." – 1 CORINTHIANS 1:26

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus Christ, grant me the grace of humility, that I may yield to Your will and experience Your best for my life, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
