THE CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS (PART 6)

KEY TEXT: Revelation 2:10 KJV: “Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.”

THE CALL TO ENDURE FAITHFULLY: The crown of righteousness is not for those who start and quit, but for those who endure faithfully to the end. Trials, persecutions, and hardships will come, yet Jesus calls us to remain faithful. He has promised that endurance leads to eternal reward. “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved” (Matthew 24:13 KJV).

THE PROMISE TO OVERCOMERS: Every sacrifice made for Christ will be rewarded, and this is the main reason why I, Apostle Emmanuel Osezele, have refused to be discouraged or give in to distractions or opposition, because to the overcomer is the crown, the throne, and eternal joy with Christ. No suffering in this world compares to the glory awaiting us. “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory” (2 Corinthians 4:17 KJV).

THE FINAL ENCOURAGEMENT: Beloved, do not faint or look back. The race is almost over, and the Master is waiting with crowns in His hand. Keep your garments white, your lamp burning, and your eyes on Jesus. Soon, we shall rejoice eternally with Him. “Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing” (2 Timothy 4:8 KJV).

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, strengthen me to endure to the end. May I never give up in the face of trials. Help me remain faithful until I receive the crown You have prepared for me, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

James 1:12 KJV: “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.”
