THE CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS (PART 4)

KEY TEXT: REVELATION 21:4 KJV – “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

ETERNAL FELLOWSHIP WITH CHRIST: The greatest joy of receiving the Crown of Righteousness is eternal fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ. The faithful shall dwell in His presence forever, enjoying unhindered communion with their Saviour. This joy outweighs every sacrifice made on earth. “….And so shall we ever be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:17b KJV).

FREEDOM FROM EARTHLY SORROWS: All struggles, pains, and afflictions of this world will end when the crown is received. The redeemed shall never experience death, sorrow, or tears again. Their eternal portion will be joy unspeakable in the presence of God. “And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light” (Revelation 22:5 KJV).

SHARING IN ETERNAL GLORY: Those who receive the crown will shine with Christ’s glory and reign with Him forever. Their reward is incorruptible, unfading, and everlasting. No earthly honour can be compared with this eternal inheritance. “When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory” (Colossians 3:4 KJV).

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the eternal joy awaiting the righteous. Strengthen me to persevere till the end, that I may share in the everlasting glory of Christ and rejoice forever with Him, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

1 PETER 5:4 KJV – “And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.”
