GOD DEFENDS THE UPRIGHT: Even when others plot against them, God fights their battles and gives them victory. God never allows the upright ones to be ridiculed or face reproach, except He allows some things to happen to His glory in the order of Joseph and Job. Uprightness attracts God into one's life. He loves the upright in heart and fights for their benefits. “For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous” (PSALM 37:17).

THE UPRIGHT WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR GOOD: When we live a righteous life, people will remember our kindness, faithfulness, and honesty, even after we are gone. Uprightness brings honor and favor. Some people may not be able to adapt to your ways when you are an upright person, but be sure they are envious of you, wishing they were able to become as you are. Never give up on your upright life because of opposition or trials, you will always come out stronger in victory. “The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot” (PROVERBS 10:7).

UPRIGHTNESS LEADS TO ETERNAL LIFE: Those who follow God’s ways and remain faithful to Him will receive the crown of life in heaven. Anyone that truly wants to enter into the kingdom of God must strive to be upright in all that he/she does. Everything about you must be upright to enter into the kingdom of God where everything is done uprightly. Don't forget that uprightness is possible and simple, all you need is to totally rely on the Holy Spirit in all you do. Be sure you are sincerely born again. “Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day” (2 TIMOTHY 4:8).

PRAYER:

O Lord my God, grant me the grace to be faithful and remain faithful till the end and to see you face to face in your kingdom, as I follow your ways, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

MATTHEW 28:20 KJV: "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
