Through the Holy Spirit, we are empowered to live lives of purity. While striving for purity can be challenging, God has given us His Spirit to guide, convict, and help us to walk in holiness. “And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them” (EZEKIEL 36:27).

Purity impacts our relationships, guiding us on how we treat others. A pure heart is free from selfish motives and seeks to love and serve others genuinely, reflecting God''s love. “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water” (HEBREWS 10:22).

To remain pure, we must pray for strength and discernment. Regular communion with God helps us stay spiritually alert and aware of areas where we need to grow in purity and resist temptation. “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak” (MATTHEW 26:41).

PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ, rekindle the fire of prayer in me, and grant me the grace to continue to depend on the Holy Spirit for help as I strive for purity, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: ROMANS 8:26 KJV: “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”
