Our words and actions reflect the purity of our hearts. Purity is evident in what we say and do, demonstrating our commitment to God''s ways. Speaking the truth and showing kindness are outward signs of an inward purity rooted in Christ. “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation." (1 PETER 1:15)

Purity also involves separating ourselves from sinful practices. As followers of Christ, we are called to live distinct lives that reflect His holiness. This means resisting practices that compromise our purity and focusing instead on God’s standards. "Abstain from all appearance of evil” (1 THESSALONIANS 5:22).

We are called to flee from sin and pursue righteousness. The Bible encourages us to actively avoid situations or habits that may lead to temptation, choosing instead to fill our lives with what is good, right, and pure. “Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart” (2 TIMOTHY 2:22).

PRAYER: My Father, please have mercy on me, in any way I have opened myself up for ungodly habits. Help me align myself with you and to overcome every form of ungodly influence, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: 2 CORINTHIANS 7:1 KJV: “Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”
