Purity is a state of heart and mind that is free from moral corruption and impurity. In the Bible, purity is described as both an internal and external quality that aligns with God''s holiness. True purity originates in the heart and reflects in our actions, thoughts, and words. Our journey toward purity begins with a desire to please God, setting ourselves apart from the world''s temptations. "Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me” (PSALM 51:10).

A pure heart seeks after God above all else. This means that our deepest longings and motivations are directed toward Him and His righteousness, instead of the fleeting pleasures of the world. Purity is not only about outward appearances but also about inner transformation. "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God” (MATTHEW 5:8).

Keeping our minds pure requires guarding what we allow into our hearts through thoughts, words, and media. Just as we avoid harmful substances to keep our bodies healthy, we must avoid sinful influences to keep our minds and hearts clean. "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” (PHILIPPIANS 4:8).

PRAYER: Father, have mercy on me in any way I have opened the door of my heart to pollution and defilement. Purge my heart and make me pure to your glory. In Jesus Christ''s mighty name. Amen
