SPIRITUAL GROWTH FIRST (PART 3)

KEY TEXT: Romans 8:19 KJV: “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”

Are you ready to be manifested? Be ready to grow. That is why you must embrace the hard and only way of holiness. Unless you do this, you will not grow. Christ learned the hard way. He told the Israelites that His disciples would fast and pray after He left; they would also learn the hard way. If you have the Holy Ghost in you, you must learn the hard way because this journey is full of thorns and surprises and your heart must be strong to embrace them. How can you do that unless you grow? Luke 5:35

The Bible states, “And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.” Jesus Christ patiently grew, so we must also grow to be loaded with spiritual things. We must be filled with the wisdom to be able to handle situations. I call the Spirit of wisdom, “the spirit of escapee” because it is the escape route for the children of God. No matter the trap, there is always a way to escape. Luke 2:40

The Bible tells us greater is he that is in us. Now, if greater is he that is in us, why are we not doing greater things? Because the grace to grow, to carry that Godhead in us, is not there. Every child of God needs to grow in the spirit before they can be manifested in their generation. God wants to manifest in all His children in their generation. There are some people that are supposed to be manifested but because they have refused to grow, God will find somebody else that is ready to grow and use them. 1 John 4:4

PRAYER

Lord Jesus Christ, wherever my time to be manifested is long overdue because of my inability to grow, release the spirit of growth upon me and reconcile me back to my destiny, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen

REFLECTION

Isaiah 11:2 KJV: “And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD”
