SPIRITUAL GROWTH FIRST (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: Luke 1:80 KJV: “And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.”

Remaining in the desert is a crucial part of spiritual growth. It is a training ground for strong men. I call it the university of adversity. No wonder David was so mighty as he was in a dry land for so long. When his brothers were eating and drinking in the house, he was in his desert. Many of us have refused to go to school spiritually, but want to be graduates. Your greatness in life depends on your growth. And your powerful preparation will prevent poor performance. 1 Samuel 17:34-35

If you do not want to perform poorly, you must stay in that university of adversity, learn and grow so that when you come out, your glory will not be an agony to Heaven. Jesus Christ became a son, so God was proud to say, “Yes. This is no longer a little child, but my son in whom I am well pleased”. Grow along your prayer so that Heaven will be proud to bring you out. Romans 8:19

Today, the Lord will just show some people visions and they expect people to serve them. Many that the Lord Jesus Christ took to Heaven misbehaved and started listening to what the devil told them because they did not learn the voice of God. They refused to ask, “Jesus Christ, how do I know when Satan is talking? How do I differentiate You from him?” John 10:4

PRAYER

Lord Jesus Christ, as many elect who have given themselves to the devil because they never knew who they are and did not learn Your voice, let them be restored, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

REFLECTION

2 Thessalonians 1:3 KJV: “We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth.”
