REVIVAL
KEY TEXT: Acts 3:19 KJV — “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.”

REVIVAL BRINGS A TIME OF SPIRITUAL REFRESHING:
When the believer turns back to God, the presence of the Lord releases refreshing. Revival revives the soul, strengthens the spirit, and restores inner peace. Dryness disappears, and the believer begins to enjoy the sweetness of God’s presence again. This refreshing is a divine visitation that God gives to those who repent wholeheartedly.
ACTS 3:19
REVIVAL RESTORES THE FEAR OF GOD: One major sign of a dying spiritual life is the loss of the fear of God. When revival comes, the heart becomes tender again. The believer begins to hate sin, honor holiness, and walk carefully before God. Scripture says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10). Revival leads to spiritual discipline and a fresh awareness of God’s holiness. PROVERBS 9:10
REVIVAL MAKES THE BELIEVER OBEDIENT TO GOD’S VOICE:
A revived believer no longer argues with God’s Word. Obedience becomes natural because the heart is aligned with God. Just like Samuel who said, “Speak, Lord; for thy servant heareth,” a revived believer delights in obeying God instantly (1 Samuel 3:10). Revival produces sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and immediate obedience.
1 SAMUEL 3:10
REVIVAL PRODUCES A ZEAL FOR SOUL-WINNING:
A revived believer cannot be silent. They burn with passion for souls. They pray for the lost, preach the gospel, and shine the light of Christ everywhere. Revival makes believers active in evangelism because God’s heartbeat is for souls. Scriptures say, “He that winneth souls is wise” (Proverbs 11:30). Revival empowers the believer to partner with God in the harvest. PROVERBS 11:30
PRAYER:
O Lord, send Your refreshing upon my life. Revive my obedience, restore Your fear in my heart, and make me a passionate soul-winner again, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
REFLECTION:
Psalm 119:37 KJV — “Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.”
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, refresh my spirit and revive every dry area of my Christian life by Your presence, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
2. Father, restore Your fear in my heart and help me to walk in holiness and reverence daily, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
3. O God, make my heart obedient to Your Word and sensitive to Your voice again, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
4. Lord, ignite fresh passion for soul-winning in me. Make me a vessel for the harvest in these end times, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
