REVIVAL
KEY TEXT: 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV — “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

REVIVAL REQUIRES HUMILITY AND REPENTANCE: God’s invitation to revival begins with humility. True revival is not fueled by pride, titles, or activity; it is birthed when believers humble themselves before God. Humility opens the door for God’s mercy and healing. The heart that admits weakness, acknowledges sin, and turns to God is ready for revival. 2 CHRONICLES 7:14
REVIVAL REQUIRES DILIGENTLY SEEKING GOD: Revival comes to those who earnestly seek God. It is not passive; it demands prayer, fasting, meditation on the Word, and genuine fellowship. God honors those who diligently seek His face. A revived life is one that pursues God above all else, making His presence, will, and glory the highest priority.
PSALM 27:8; JEREMIAH 29:13
REVIVAL BRINGS FORGIVENESS AND HEALING: When revival happens, God forgives sin, restores joy, and heals broken places. Spiritual wounds, relationships, and ministries that were dormant or wounded are restored. Just as God promised, “...then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” Revival restores both the individual and the community. 2 CHRONICLES 7:14
Revival does more than energize; it transforms the believer’s character, conduct, and witness. The fruit of revival is holiness, zeal, obedience, prayerfulness, and active service. A revived believer impacts family, church, and community. Revival produces enduring spiritual fruit for God’s kingdom. JOHN 15:5–8; GALATIANS 5:22–23
