REVIVAL

KEY TEXT: Revelation 3:2 KJV — “Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.”

REVIVAL REQUIRES SPIRITUAL ALERTNESS: Revival demands that the believer remains vigilant. The Lord warns that lukewarmness and spiritual fatigue allow what is alive to begin dying. “Strengthen the things which remain”—this is a call to actively revive the weak areas of our lives before they are completely lost. Spiritual lethargy is dangerous; what is left undone today may become irreparable tomorrow. REVELATION 3:2

REVIVAL DEMANDS DAILY STRENGTHENING: Revival is not a one-time experience, it is a daily discipline. Every believer must feed their spirit through the Word, prayer, praise, and service. What is weak today can be strengthened tomorrow if consistent effort is applied. The early church prayed without ceasing, worshiped, and studied the Word diligently—these were keys to sustained revival. 1 THESSALONIANS 5:17; ACTS 2:42

REVIVAL IS ABOUT RESTORING WHAT IS DYING: God looks at what is dying and calls it back to life. Perhaps your zeal for ministry is waning, your love for the lost is fading, or your commitment to prayer is weakening. God says, “I have not found thy works perfect before Me.” Revival calls for restoration, a spiritual check-up, and correction to bring the believer back to full life. REVELATION 3:2

Revival does not stop at personal restoration; it produces works that glorify God. The believer’s testimony, service, and witness become consistent and powerful. God honors those who maintain spiritual vigilance and strength in their walk. Revival strengthens the believer to accomplish what they were created for. JOHN 4:34; HEBREWS 6:10
