REPLICATING MARY MAGDALENE’S LOVE FOR CHRIST (PART 4)

KEY TEXT: John 20:16 KJV – “Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.”

Mary Magdalene’s steadfast love for Christ brought her into a divine encounter that others missed. While the disciples returned home in sorrow, she remained at the tomb, weeping and longing for the presence of her Master. Her persistence in love made her the first witness of the risen Christ. Those who truly love Jesus are never left empty; their loyalty draws divine revelation. Love has a way of opening spiritual eyes to see what casual followers cannot see.

When Jesus called her by name, it was not just recognition—it was a reward of intimacy. Love gives you access to hear the Master’s voice personally. Many believers today desire to hear God, but only lovers dwell long enough in His presence to recognize His voice. Mary’s encounter teaches us that divine revelation is birthed from devotion, not from position or title. Her love positioned her to receive the greatest revelation of all time—the resurrection. JOHN 12:26

Beloved, if you desire fresh encounters with God, remain where love keeps you—at His feet, in worship, in patience, and in faithfulness. The voice that called “Mary” is still calling those who love deeply and wait faithfully. Love that persists will always meet the living Christ. Never let anything separate you from His presence, for His reward awaits those who love Him wholeheartedly. JOHN 10:17-18

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Lord Jesus Christ, let my love for You lead me into deeper encounters with Your presence in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen

2. Heavenly Father, help me to recognize Your voice when You speak to me in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

3. Holy Spirit, keep me steadfast in love until I experience divine revelation and glory in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen
