Mary Magdalene’s encounter with Jesus Christ was life-transforming. She was once bound by seven devils, living in torment and shame, but one moment with the Lord changed her forever. Gratitude became the fuel of her love; she never forgot the mercy that saved her. True love for Christ is born out of an understanding of His great forgiveness and deliverance. When we remember what we have been saved from, our hearts naturally overflow with love and devotion toward Him.

Mary's love for Jesus Christ was not hidden—it was active, sacrificial, and pure. She expressed it openly when she anointed Jesus’ feet with her costly ointment, wiping them with her hair in humility and gratitude. Love that costs nothing is not love at all. Mary’s actions remind believers that love for Christ demands sacrifice—our time, our treasures, and our total obedience. If you truly love Jesus, you will not hold back anything from Him. 2 Samuel 24:24

Beloved, it is easy to profess love with words, but real love is proven by consistent devotion and selfless service. Mary’s love was practical, loyal, and lasting. She was present at the cross and the tomb—places of pain and faith. Let your love for Christ remain steadfast, even when others fall away. Jesus is still seeking those who will love Him deeply and faithfully like Mary did. Luke 9:23
