PERSONAL ENCOUNTER WITH GOD (PART 5)

KEY TEXT: 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

A genuine encounter with God leaves a permanent mark on a believer’s life. It is not just a temporary feeling but a life-transforming experience that changes one’s character, vision, and destiny. Saul’s encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus was so powerful that he could never return to his old ways. His identity changed, his mission changed, and his passion was redirected towards Christ (Acts 9:20–22).

Beloved, the lasting impact of a personal encounter with God includes a new identity. Jacob became Israel after wrestling with God, signifying a complete transformation of destiny (Genesis 32:28). Another impact is boldness and confidence. After Isaiah saw the glory of the Lord, he boldly answered, “Here am I; send me” (Isaiah 6:8). A divine encounter also brings spiritual empowerment, enabling you to fulfill God’s purpose without fear or compromise (Acts 1:8).

Child of God, one true encounter with the Lord makes you unshakable. You cannot remain the same because the fire of God within you will keep burning. Such encounters also build testimonies that will inspire generations after you. Seek God for a personal encounter that will leave a lasting imprint on your life, family, and ministry.

REFLECTION:

Has your walk with God produced visible change in your life? True encounters leave undeniable marks of transformation. Pray for an encounter that will redefine your destiny permanently.

SINCERELY PRAY THESE PRAYERS :

1. Lord, give me an encounter that will bring permanent transformation in my life, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen (2 Corinthians 5:17).

2. Father, let my identity be renewed like Jacob’s through a divine visitation, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen (Genesis 32:28).

3. O God, empower me through a personal encounter to boldly fulfill my purpose in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen (Isaiah 6:8).

4. Lord, let the impact of my encounter with You be a testimony for generations after me .in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen (Acts 9:20–22).
