PERSONAL ENCOUNTER WITH GOD (PART 2)
KEY TEXT: Exodus 3:4 KJV: “And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.”

A personal encounter with God is often the turning point in a person’s life. For Moses, it was at the burning bush that his destiny was revealed and his assignment was given. Such encounters come when a man sets his heart to seek the Lord with sincerity and readiness to obey. It is not just an emotional experience but a divine visitation that brings clear direction and divine purpose (Isaiah 6:8).
Beloved, when you encounter God personally, you can never remain the same. Gideon was an ordinary man hiding from the enemy until he encountered the Angel of the Lord; from that moment, he became a mighty man of valor (Judges 6:12–14). Every true encounter with God brings transformation, courage, and a new identity in Christ Jesus. Without an encounter, a man remains ordinary, but with an encounter, he becomes extraordinary by the Spirit of God.
Child of God, do not despise your moments of prayer, worship, or study of the Word. God can reveal Himself to you in those quiet times. Your life’s assignment, hidden potentials, and divine empowerment can all be unveiled in one personal encounter. Remember, one genuine encounter with God can solve a lifetime of confusion and uncertainty (Acts 9:6). Seek Him earnestly, and He will surely meet you.
REFLECTION:
When last did you seek God with all your heart, waiting to hear from Him personally? Stop running from one man of God to another for direction. God desires to meet with you personally, to guide your steps and reveal His will for your life.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, open my eyes to recognize when You are revealing Yourself to me (Exodus 3:4).
2. O God, grant me a personal encounter that will bring clarity to my destiny (Isaiah 6:8).
3. Father, transform my weaknesses into strength through a divine encounter (Judges 6:12–14).
4. Lord, let my life be redirected by Your presence as Saul’s was on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:6).
