LEAVE THE ROPE ON THE WINDOW (PART 6)

KEY TEXT: John 15:9–10 KJV – “As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.”

COVENANT OF THE ROPE: The scarlet rope on Rahab’s window was more than a sign of faith, it was a covenant that endured until fulfillment. She remained under that covenant until the promise came to pass. In the same way, every true believer is called to remain steadfast in the covenant of Christ’s blood. This covenant is not seasonal; it endures through trials, temptations, and time. To continue in Christ is to keep your rope firmly tied, trusting in His unfailing love and mercy.

The covenant of the blood of Jesus is eternal, it does not fade with circumstances or seasons. It is the believer’s anchor through every storm. Those who endure in faith, love, and obedience till the end will partake in eternal glory. Just as Rahab’s faith gave her a place among the redeemed of Israel, those who remain under the covering of the blood will have their place in the kingdom of God. Matthew 24:13

Beloved, do not grow weary of holding on. Keep your rope tied and your faith alive. The covenant of Jesus Christ is everlasting; it cannot fail. The same blood that redeemed you will keep you until the day of His appearing. Remain faithful, continue in His love, and never let go of the rope — for your eternal victory depends on it. James 5:11

REFLECTION:

The covenant of the blood is eternal. Keep your rope tied until the end — for those who endure in faith and obedience will receive the crown of life.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, thank You for the everlasting covenant of the blood of Jesus Christ. Help me to abide continually in Your love and keep my covenant unbroken, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name.

2. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray that nothing separate me from the grace that saves and preserves, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

3. Lord Jesus, grant me the grace to endure trials and temptations in faith and obedience till the end, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
