LEAVE THE ROPE ON THE WINDOW (PART 4)
KEY TEXT: Joshua 6:25 KJV – “And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father’s household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.”

THE REWARD OF KEEPING THE ROPE: Every covenant of God comes with a reward for those who keep it faithfully. Rahab’s obedience to the instruction concerning the scarlet rope secured not only her deliverance, but also her destiny. She was not destroyed with the unbelievers of Jericho; instead, she was saved, honored, and given a place among God’s people. Her name was later listed in the genealogy of Jesus Christ (Matthew 1:5). What a glorious outcome for a woman once known as a harlot!
Beloved, God rewards those who hold on to their covenant without wavering. Keeping the “rope” staying true to your faith, maintaining holiness, and remaining under the covering of the blood always leads to divine remembrance. When others are forgotten, those who kept their covenant are singled out for mercy and promotion. The same faith that delivered Rahab also transformed her identity and gave her eternal relevance. Revelation 2:10
If you remain faithful to Christ, your story too will change. God never forgets those who stand firm in their covenant with Him. The reward may not appear immediately, but it is sure. Keep the rope, keep believing, and keep obeying, your deliverance and elevation are on the way. James 1:12
REFLECTION:
Faithful covenant keepers never lose their reward. Rahab kept her rope and found mercy, favor, and a new beginning. Stay faithful — your obedience will speak for you when it matters most.
PRAYER POINTS:
