LEAVE THE ROPE ON THE WINDOW (PART 3)

KEY TEXT: Hebrews 12:24 KJV – “And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”

THE ROPE THAT SPEAKS MERCY: The scarlet rope on Rahab’s window did more than mark her house — it spoke mercy on her behalf. When destruction came upon Jericho, that visible sign cried out for deliverance, and heaven responded. In the same way, the blood of Jesus speaks mercy, forgiveness, and protection over everyone who abides under His covenant. The rope was a shadow of that divine voice that still speaks today — the voice of the blood that never stops interceding for the redeemed. Hebrews 12:24

When the Israelites destroyed Jericho, every house fell except the one with the scarlet line. That was not a coincidence; it was covenant mercy in action. The rope declared, “This one belongs to the covenant; do not touch!” Beloved, if you are washed in the blood of Jesus and remain faithful, mercy will always speak louder than judgment over your life. The covenant covering of the blood silences every accusation and redeems every soul that stays within its boundary. Hebrews 9:14

No matter what storm or destruction surrounds you, never forget — the blood of Jesus still speaks! Keep the rope on the window of your life; let the mark of mercy be visible in your conduct and faith. The same God who spared Rahab will also remember you in the day of judgment and show you mercy because of the covenant you kept. Romans 5:9

REFLECTION:

The blood of Jesus is the rope that speaks mercy. As long as it remains upon your life, destruction cannot touch you. Stay under the covering of the covenant, and let mercy speak continually for you.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Merciful Father, thank You for the blood of Jesus that speaks mercy and redemption on my behalf. Let Your mercy continually speak louder than judgment in my life, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

2. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray that the covenant blood of Jesus silence every accusation against me, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

3. Holy Spirit, help me to abide faithfully under the covenant blood of Jesus Christ, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
