LEAVE THE ROPE ON THE WINDOW ( PART 5)
KEY TEXT: Hebrews 10:38 KJV–“Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.”

THE DANGER OF REMOVING THE ROPE: The same rope that saved Rahab would have meant nothing if she had removed it before the time of deliverance. Her safety was in her obedience and steadfast faith. Likewise, the believer’s safety today lies in keeping the covenant of the blood of Jesus— remaining faithful, obedient, and unshaken in trust toward Jesus Christ. To remove the rope is to turn away from the faith, to break covenant through sin, unbelief, or compromise.
Many once walked with God but removed their “rope” when challenges arose. They stopped praying, forsook holiness, and returned to the world. The moment a believer removes the mark of obedience and separates from the covering of the blood of Jesus, they expose themselves to danger and judgment. Remember Lot’s wife — she looked back and lost everything (Luke 17:32). To look back or turn aside is to remove the rope of faith from your window.
Beloved, hold on to your covenant without fear. Do not allow pressure, persecution, or delay to make you abandon your faith in Christ. The rope you keep is your life, your safety, and your eternal hope. Those who endure to the end shall be saved (Matthew 24:13). Let nothing make you drop your rope — the day of reward is near.
REFLECTION:
To remove the rope is to lose the covering of mercy. Stay faithful, stay obedient, and stay under the blood of Jesus. The rope you keep today will speak for you when judgment comes.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Father, have mercy on me for every time I have doubted or wavered. Strengthen me to hold firmly to my covenant with You, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
2. In the name of Jesus Christ, I overcome any problem or situation programmed to make me lose my salvation, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
3. In the name of Jesus Christ, I receive the grace never to remove the rope of faith and obedience from my life, and may I be preserved till the end, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
