LABOUR FOR THE HONOR FROM GOD (PART 6 – CONCLUSION)
KEY TEXT: Revelation 22:12 KJV – “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”

THE FINAL REWARD OF THE FAITHFUL:
The greatest reward of laboring for divine honor is to hear the Master say, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” No earthly applause can compare to the joy of eternal acceptance before the throne of God. Those who served faithfully, even when misunderstood or forgotten by men, shall be remembered by Heaven. Every tear, sacrifice, and act of love will be rewarded in eternity. Beloved, the honor from God is everlasting—it brings peace, glory, and a crown that will never fade. (Matthew 25:21; 2 Corinthians 5:10)
THE DANGER OF SERVING FOR EARTHLY HONOR:
Many have lost their eternal reward because they served only to be seen by men. Such service, though loud before men, is silent before Heaven. Jesus warned that those who seek praise from men have already received their reward. The danger of seeking worldly honor is eternal loss. Do not trade eternal glory for temporary recognition. Labor with a pure heart, for the eyes of the Lord run to and fro, to show Himself strong on behalf of the faithful. (Matthew 6:1–2; 2 Chronicles 16:9)
THE CALL TO ENDURE AND FINISH WELL:
Faithful service requires endurance. It is not how fast you start, but how steadfast you finish. Many began well but were discouraged along the way. Only those who endure to the end shall receive the crown of life. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of your faith. Labor for that which endures forever, for the night cometh when no man can work. Let your life’s pursuit be to please God and to receive His eternal honor at the end of your race. (James 1:12; John 9:4; Hebrews 12:2)
PRAYER:
O Lord, help me to labor faithfully until the end. Let my service on earth bring You glory and count me worthy to receive the crown of eternal honor at Your coming, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
REFLECTION:
Romans 2:10 KJV – “But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile.”
PRAYER POINTS
1. My Father and my God, help me to remain faithful in my service until the end, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
2. O Lord, deliver me from the trap of seeking human praise; let me labor only for Your glory, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
3. Heavenly Father, empower me to endure every trial and finish my race well, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
4. Lord Jesus Christ, prepare me for the day of reward; may I not lose my eternal crown, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
5. O God of Mercy, count me worthy to hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant,” and let me reign with You in glory forever, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
ALTAR CALL:
Beloved, the greatest labor anyone can begin is to serve Christ. But you cannot labor for His honor if you have not yet surrendered to Him. What shall it profit a man if he gains the world’s honor and loses his soul? Jesus Christ is calling you today — repent of your sins and accept Him as your Lord and Saviour. Confess your sins, forsake them, and begin to live for the honor that comes from God alone. Tomorrow may be too late. (Romans 10:9–10; John 3:16)
