LABOUR FOR THE HONOR FROM GOD (PART 5)
KEY TEXT: Hebrews 6:10 KJV – “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”

THE BLESSING OF DIVINE REMEMBRANCE:
God takes note of every act of faithful service rendered in His name. When you labor in sincerity and truth, heaven keeps record. Many may forget your sacrifices, but the God who sees in secret will remember you for good. Divine remembrance brings open reward and supernatural favor. Joseph served faithfully in prison, and at the appointed time, God honored him before the king. Your season of remembrance will surely come if you faint not. (Genesis 41:14–16; Galatians 6:9)
THE BLESSING OF DIVINE PROMOTION:
True promotion comes not from man, but from God. Those who labor for divine honor do not chase position; they focus on purpose, and God Himself lifts them in due time. Mordecai served faithfully without demanding recognition, yet God turned the heart of the king to honor him publicly. When you serve God in humility and faithfulness, He will announce you at the right time and lift you beyond your imagination. (Psalm 75:6–7; Esther 6:10–11)
THE BLESSING OF ETERNAL REWARD:
The greatest honor awaits the faithful in heaven — the incorruptible crown that fades not away. Earthly honor perishes, but divine honor endures forever. When you labor with a pure heart and endure to the end, your reward will not only be on earth but in eternity. Jesus Christ, the Righteous Judge, shall crown the faithful with glory and immortality. Keep laboring for the honor that comes from God alone, for it is eternal and glorious. (2 Timothy 4:7–8; 1 Peter 5:4)
PRAYER:
O Lord my God, let my service in Your vineyard never be forgotten. Remember me for good, lift me by Your hand of promotion, and count me worthy of the eternal crown of glory, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
REFLECTION:
1 Corinthians 15:58 KJV – “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
PRAYER POINTS:
1. My Father and my God, remember me for every labor of love I have done for Your name’s sake, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
2. O Lord, let my season of divine promotion and honor begin; lift me by Your mercy and not by human favor, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
3. Heavenly Father, empower me to serve You continually with joy and faithfulness, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
4. Lord Jesus Christ, help me to endure every trial with patience and keep my focus on the eternal reward, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
5. O God of Glory, crown me with everlasting honor at the end of my race, and let my service bring You eternal praise, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
