JESUS CARES (PART 5)

KEY TEXT: Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV) - “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

GOD’S THOUGHTS TOWARD YOU ARE PEACEFUL: One of the greatest assurances for the believer is the knowledge that God’s thoughts toward us are good. Even when circumstances seem confusing or painful, God is not planning evil against His children. His care is intentional, His plans are deliberate, and His purpose is redemptive. Understanding this truth settles the heart and anchors the soul in hope. (Jeremiah 29:11; Romans 8:28)

THE REWARD OF TRUSTING GOD’S CARE: Those who trust fully in the Lord’s care do not live anxious lives. Scripture declares that the Lord preserves those who trust in Him and surrounds them with mercy. Trusting God’s care brings stability, preservation, and divine favour. The reward of casting care is peace, and the fruit of peace is strength. (Psalm 125:1; Isaiah 26:3)

LIVING WITH CONFIDENT ASSURANCE: When a believer is convinced that Jesus cares, fear loses its voice and worry loses its grip. Confidence in God’s care produces joy, boldness, and spiritual resilience. Such believers walk through life with calm assurance, knowing that nothing happens to them outside God’s loving oversight. This is the victory of a soul fully rested in Christ. (Romans 8:35–39; Proverbs 3:5–6)

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus Christ, I thank You for Your unfailing love and care over my life. I choose to trust You completely with my present and my future. Let my heart remain anchored in peace, and let my life reflect the confidence of one who knows that You truly care, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

Isaiah 32:17 (KJV) - “And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.”

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank You for Your good thoughts and plans toward my life. I reject fear and embrace Your peace, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen (Jeremiah 29:11)

2. Lord, I receive grace to trust You completely. My heart shall remain stayed on You and preserved in perfect peace, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen (Isaiah 26:3)

3. By the power of God, I declare that anxiety, fear, and worry shall no longer rule my life. I live rested in the assurance of God’s care, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen (Psalm 125:1)

4. Father, establish my steps and order my path as I trust in You. I shall not lean on my own understanding, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen (Proverbs 3:5–6)

5. Lord Jesus, I boldly declare that nothing shall separate me from Your love and care. I am secure, preserved, and victorious in You, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen (Romans 8:35–39)
