JESUS CARES (PART 3)

KEY TEXT: Isaiah 40:27-28 (KJV): “Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God? 28. Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.”

WHEN GOD SEEMS SILENT: There are seasons in a believer’s life when it feels as though heaven is quiet and prayers are unanswered. In such moments, the enemy whispers lies that God has forgotten or overlooked us. But Scripture clearly teaches that God neither faints nor grows weary. His silence is never a sign of neglect; rather, it is often a season of divine processing, strengthening, and preparation. Jesus cares even when He seems silent. (Isaiah 40:27–28)

GOD’S CARE IS NOT LIMITED BY TIME: Unlike man, God operates outside time. What seems delayed to us is often God’s perfect timing at work. Jesus sees the end from the beginning and knows exactly when to step in. Those who trust His timing will never miss His intervention. Waiting on the Lord is not wasted time; it is a season where faith is refined and hope is renewed. (Habakkuk 2:3; Ecclesiastes 3:11)

STRENGTH FOR THE WAITING HEART: When we wait on the Lord with confidence in His care, He renews our strength. He replaces anxiety with endurance, fear with faith, and weariness with hope. Those who believe that Jesus cares will not faint in the day of adversity. Divine strength is released to those who remain anchored in trust. (Isaiah 40:31; Psalm 27:14)

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus Christ, even when I do not understand Your ways, I choose to trust Your care. Strengthen my heart to wait on You without fear or doubt, and help me to remain steadfast until Your purpose is fulfilled, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

Lamentations 3:31–32 (KJV): “For the Lord will not cast off for ever:

But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.”

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I reject every lie that says You have forgotten me; I declare that I am remembered and cared for by You, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. (Isaiah 40:27–28)

2. Lord, grant me grace to trust You even in seasons of silence; my faith shall not fail, and my hope shall not be cut off, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. (Habakkuk 2:3)

3. By the power of the Holy Ghost, strengthen my heart as I wait upon the Lord; I shall not faint, grow weary, or give up, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. (Isaiah 40:31)

4. Father, let divine timing work in my favour; every delay shall produce greater glory, and every waiting season shall end in praise, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

5. Lord Jesus, anchor my soul in Your unfailing love; I receive renewed strength, peace, and confidence, knowing that You truly care for me, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen (Psalm 27:14)
