CARE IN MANY FACES: Care can come in many ways. Care for what to do, care for the family and children back home, or care for what tomorrow may bring. Man is often faced with a series of cares that, at times, throw the mind and heart away from their utmost priority. Yes, we are in this world, and different cares will arise—but we must not be overwhelmed by them. (Matthew 6:25–27)

HEAVEN’S PRESCRIPTION FOR WORRY: The Bible prescribes different things one can do to cope with excessive care for matters that do not edify or profit. It tells us to cast all our cares upon the Lord Jesus Christ, for He is the One who can manage the unmanageable. He alone can bring peace to the storms that roar against us. Therefore, let us think upon things that edify and strengthen our faith. (1 Peter 5:7)

THE YOKE OF CHRIST: We, as human beings, often harbour a multitude of concerns, worries, and anxieties that can lead to a life of disarray. But the Bible has given us the remedy to these problems: faithfully cast all your cares upon Christ. Put down your earthly yoke and take upon yourself the yoke of Christ, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light. (Psalm 55:22)

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus Christ, give me the grace to release all my cares and burdens into your able hands, and help me to trust and believe that I can hand over the cares of tomorrow to you, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

Psalm 55:22 KJV: “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.”

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I cast every burden, anxiety, and hidden worry upon You today; let Your sustaining grace uphold me, and let no care overwhelm my soul, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. (1 Peter 5:7; Psalm 55:22)

2. Lord Jesus, I receive grace to break free from the spirit of worry and fear; every care that distracts my heart from trusting You is silenced by Your peace, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. (Matthew 6:25–26; Philippians 4:6–7)

3. By the power of God, I lay down every heavy yoke of pressure, stress, and uncertainty, and I take upon me the yoke of Christ; let divine rest and ease become my portion in Jesus Christ’s mighty mighty name. Amen. (Matthew 11:28–30)

4. Father, let Your peace rule my heart and mind; every storm raging against my faith, family, future, and calling—be still now, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. (Mark 4:39; Isaiah 26:3)

5. Lord, strengthen my faith to trust You completely with my tomorrow; I declare that I shall not be shaken, discouraged, or moved, for You care for me and You will perfect all that concerns me in Jesus Christ’smightyname. Amen. (Psalm 37:5; Psalm 138:8)
