INWARD AND OUTWARD HOLINESS IS DEMANDED TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD (FINAL PART)

KEY TEXT: Revelation 22:11 (KJV) – “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.”

HOLINESS IS A PERSONAL AND FINAL CHOICE: Holiness cannot be inherited, borrowed, or enforced by others—it is a personal decision every believer must make. God provides grace, truth, and the help of the Holy Spirit, but each person chooses whether to walk in obedience or compromise. At the close of this age, destinies will be sealed based on the choices men made concerning righteousness and holiness (Deuteronomy 30:19; Galatians 6:7).

THERE IS NO SECOND CHANCE AFTER THIS LIFE: Scripture reveals that the opportunity to repent and pursue holiness is limited to this present life. Death and the return of Christ mark the end of all earthly opportunities. After that, judgment follows, and eternal destinies are fixed. This truth calls for urgency, sincerity, and wholehearted commitment to God without delay (Hebrews 9:27; Luke 16:26).

ONLY THE HOLY WILL ENTER THE KINGDOM: God’s Kingdom is a holy Kingdom, prepared for a holy people. Religious titles, spiritual gifts, and church activities cannot replace a holy life. Those who obey God, walk in purity, and endure in righteousness will enter with joy, while those who reject holiness will be eternally separated from God. The call to holiness is therefore the call to life itself (Matthew 7:21–23; Revelation 21:7–8).

PRAYER:

Eternal Father, I choose the path of holiness. I renounce every form of compromise and surrender my heart fully to You. Help me to remain faithful, pure, and obedient until the end, that I may enter Your Kingdom with joy and hear, “Well done,” in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

Hebrews 12:14 (KJV) – “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”

N.B: Holiness is not optional—it is the gateway to eternal life.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, help me to make a firm and lasting decision to live in holiness without compromise, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. (Joshua 24:15; Deuteronomy 30:19)

2. Lord, remove every distraction, excuse, and delay that hinders my full obedience to You, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. (Luke 9:62; Hebrews 12:1)

3. Holy Spirit, keep my heart pure, my conscience tender, and my walk upright until the end, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen (Psalm 51:10; Titus 2:11–12)

4. O God, grant me grace to finish well and enter Your eternal Kingdom with joy and confidence, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. (2 Timothy 4:7–8; Revelation 22:14)
