HAVE YOU SECURED YOURSELF IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS?

KEY TEXT: 1 Peter 1:18–19 KJV: “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:”

FALSE SECURITY: People often seek security in different forms. Some feel safe in their fortified houses, others in their possessions, wealth, or social connections. These are human-built securities, fragile and temporary. They come today and fade tomorrow. The safety the world offers is only a vapor that appears and disappears. What we can see or touch can never give lasting protection, because everything visible is temporary, and only what is unseen in Christ is eternal. Matthew 6:19–21

THE BLOOD SECURES: It is through the blood of Jesus that unseen power gives real security, covering what we can see and what we cannot see. In Exodus, God revealed this mystery: the blood became a token of protection upon the houses of the Israelites, causing the destroyer to pass over. The life of the lamb stood as a substitute for those inside, foreshadowing the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. Through His shed blood, He bought our safety from death and hell, standing in our place and granting us divine exemption. Exodus 12:13

THE VOICE OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS: The blood of Jesus speaks louder than the blood of Abel. It doesn’t cry for vengeance but declares forgiveness, mercy, and victory. Even now, it intercedes for us, silencing accusation and securing our redemption. The blood of Jesus isn’t just a doctrine; it is living power at work. We overcome through the blood of the Lamb. It cleanses, protects, and defends. Let the blood of Jesus be your hedge and your covering. Stay under its shield, for within the blood lies the cure, the defense, and the victory that cannot fail. Hebrews 12:24

PRAYER:

O Lord, grant me your all-round security in your precious blood and help me not to break the hedge of your protection, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

Psalm 91:1 KJV: “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, by the blood of Jesus, secure my life, my family, and everything that concerns me from every destruction and evil assignment, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

2. O Lord, let the power in the blood of Jesus silence every accusation, condemnation, and satanic voice speaking against my destiny, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

3. By the precious blood of Christ, I decree divine exemption from danger, death, disaster, and every arrow of the enemy, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

4. Lord Jesus, help me to remain under the covering of Your blood; let me never break the hedge of divine protection, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
