GOD’S JUDGMENT FOR KNOWN AND UNKNOWN SIN (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: Psalm 19:12 (KJV) — “Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.”

THE DANGER OF HIDDEN SIN: Unknown sins are hidden from our conscience but not from God. They can hinder blessings, stall spiritual growth, and bring judgment if left unrepented. Even the faithful must seek God’s revelation to uncover what is concealed.

Psalm 90:8 (KJV): “Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.”

GOD'S WORD ILLUMINATES THE UNKNOWN: The Spirit of God, through His Word, exposes hidden faults and teaches us truth. Regular prayer, meditation on Scripture, and submission to godly counsel help reveal what is unknown so we can repent and be cleansed.

John 16:13 (KJV): “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth.”

PURSUE HOLINESS WITH AWARENESS:

Do not be content with addressing only the sins you see. Continually ask God to cleanse your heart, remove ignorance, and guide you in righteousness, so your spiritual race will remain unhindered and pleasing to Him. Hebrews 12:14 (KJV): “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”

PRAYER:

O Lord, search my heart and life. Expose every hidden sin and secret fault, and cleanse me completely. Deliver me from judgment and guide me to walk in full obedience, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

Leviticus 4:2 (KJV): “Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:”

N.B: Hidden sins are not hidden to God. Seek His cleansing daily to walk in purity and favor.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Heavenly Father, cleanse me from every secret fault and hidden sin, that I may walk blameless before You, in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.

2. O Lord, uncover every unknown sin in my life, and deliver me from every hidden snare, in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.

3. Father, guide me by Your Spirit into all truth, correct every error, and help me walk in holiness, in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.

4. Lord, cover me with the Blood of Jesus and preserve me from the consequences of hidden sins, that mercy may prevail over judgment, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
