GOD’S DIVINE JUDGMENT (PART 6 )

KEY TEXT: Amos 4:12 (KJV) – “…prepare to meet thy God.”

GOD’S FINAL CALL TO REPENTANCE: Before judgment is executed, God always extends mercy. Throughout Scripture, God warns before He judges, giving mankind opportunity to repent and turn back to Him. Judgment is not God’s desire, but repentance is man’s responsibility. Every warning message is proof that God still seeks to save souls and restore lives before it is too late. (Ezekiel 18:23)

THE CONSEQUENCE OF REJECTING MERCY;

When mercy is continually ignored, judgment becomes unavoidable. Scripture reveals that persistent rebellion hardens the heart and silences the voice of conviction. At that point, judgment is no longer preventable but certain. Rejecting Christ is the greatest offense against God’s mercy, and it results in eternal separation from Him. (John 3:19)

LIVING DAILY PREPARED FOR ETERNITY: Preparation for eternity is not a one-time decision but a daily lifestyle. True readiness is seen in obedience, holiness, perseverance, and faithfulness to Christ until the end. Those who endure in righteousness will stand confidently before God, having lived with eternity in view. (Matthew 24:13)

PRAYER:

O righteous and merciful Father, I respond to Your final call. I repent of every sin, compromise, and spiritual negligence. Help me to live daily prepared for eternity, walking in holiness and obedience until I see You face to face, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

2 Corinthians 6:2 (KJV) –

“Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

N.B: Delay in repentance is a dangerous gamble with eternity.

PRAYER POINTS:
