FROM TRIALS TO TRIUMPH

KEY TEXT: Matthew 24:13 KJV: “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”

TESTED OR TEMPTED: Satan tempts people to sin and err against God, while God tests people to see if they are truly after His heart. Understanding the difference between these two will sharpen your spiritual focus, helping you discern whether you are undergoing God's test of faith or falling into Satan’s deadly lure to trap your soul. Do not give up in times of testing. James 1:12

SOAR ABOVE TRIALS: Will you give up in times of testing? Testing refines us, just as silver is purified in fire. The trial may be painful, but it is shaping and forming you into who God wants you to be. Use the trial like the wind—just as an eagle, when it encounters strong winds, soars higher and reaches greater heights. Therefore, count it all joy. Proverbs 24:10

JOB’S EXAMPLE: Job was a man who faced the fiery trials of testing. He lost everything—his children, yet he held onto his integrity and faithfulness to God. Satan challenged Job’s faithfulness through God’s allowance. Even his close friends accused him of sin and wrongdoing. Yet, despite all this, Job did not curse God or accuse Him wrongly, even in his severe pain. Keep faith alive in the times of testing. Job 1:1

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, strengthen me so that I will not faint in the day of adversity. When trials and challenges come my way, help me to stand firm in faith. In Jesus Christ’s mighty name, Amen.

REFLECTION:

Psalm 66:10 KJV: “For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.”
