FIGHT AND CONQUER THE SPIRIT OF BETRAYAL WITHIN YOU (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: Matthew 26:24 KJV – “The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.”

It could be that the one you are about to betray was destined to be arrested, so that God could use them to glorify His name in prison. Though that was destined to happen, you will be punished for allowing yourself to be used negatively because of the betrayal spirit you refused to fight against now. You will go to hell for it while that person will actually be fulfilling their destiny. Matthew 27:5

The betrayal spirit will make one to forget the love they once had for their loved ones, and will do exactly what the spirit is leading them to do. It will be very hard to escape someone with a betrayal spirit, because they are usually very close to you. You will open up everything to them until they strike and use the counsel you shared together against you. Psalm 55:12

The spirit of betrayal will make one forget tomorrow's greatness because of today's gain. One who collects money and sell away a friend or betrays Christ, is doing so to the detriment of their own salvation and soul. Many people betray their own souls because of the spirit of betrayal in them. For instance, a Christian who gains favor by telling lies is betraying his/her soul and Christ, who trusted in them. Matthew 26:14-15

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus Christ, forgive me and let Your mercy stand for me in any way I have betrayed my friend or loved ones, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen

REFLECTION:

Psalm 41:9 KJV – “Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.”

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Lord Jesus, search me and deliver me from every spirit of betrayal, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

2. My Father and my God, please have mercy and forgive me for betraying those who trusted in me. Please heal the wounds of those I betrayed, as I repent in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. amen.

3. By the power in the name of Jesus Christ, anything programmed ahead of me to betray my Lord and Savior, catch fire and be destroyed in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

4. In the name of Jesus Christ, I receive the grace to keep a clean file before God and man, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
