FIGHT AND CONQUER THE SPIRIT OF BETRAYAL WITHIN YOU

KEY TEXT: Luke 22:3-4 KJV - “And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people. Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.”

You might be saying that you don't have the spirit of betrayal, or thinking this message is not for you. But let me tell you—until the betrayal spirit manifests itself and you betray your trusted friend, you might not know. Even when Jesus Christ warned that a disciple would betray him, the betrayer was right there. It wasn’t until he sold the Master, kissed Him and left Him for judgment, that he realized what he had done and wanted to return the money, but it was too late. Matthew 27:3-5

If you don't conquer the spirit of betrayal, it will fight you and condemn you. You must understand that the spirit of betrayal will never push you to fight your enemy. It will push you to fight those who care about you. It is a very cunning and subtle spirit. It will make you ask your beloved ones questions to use against them. 2 Samuel 15:31

Samson loved and trusted Delilah. But because of the spirit of betrayal in her, she sold him away. Likewise, if you do not conquer the spirit of betrayal within you, you will betray the same people you profess to love and care about. Child of God, be careful so that the devil will not use you to push your friends out of their destiny, not knowing that the devil is about to destroy you. Judges 16:18-19

REFLECTION:

Matthew 26:21 – “And while they were eating, he said, Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me.”

PRAYER POINTS:

1. I bind and cast out every spirit of betrayal within me and overcome it, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

2. By the power in the name of Jesus, I receive the grace never to betray my fellows, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

3. By the blood of Jesus, I hide my heart from satanic arrows of betrayal, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen
