FAMILY ORDERLINESS (PART 6)

KEY TEXT: Isaiah 32:18 KJV – “And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.”

A family that desires lasting order must first return to God in repentance and surrender. Without acknowledging Him as the builder, no structure can stand. Many families are trying to fix what only God can repair. True restoration begins when every heart in the home yields to the authority of Christ. The family altar must be rebuilt—daily prayer, the study of the Word, and consistent fellowship will gradually restore divine alignment.

To sustain orderliness, there must be intentional communication and understanding. No family remains strong without consistent dialogue, forgiveness, and shared purpose. Husbands, wives, and children must all be open to correction and growth. “Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you” (Ephesians 4:32 KJV). Constant humility and understanding keep the family bond unbreakable, no matter the challenges.

Sustaining family order requires gratitude and thanksgiving. A thankful family is a peaceful family. When gratitude fills the atmosphere, complaints and conflicts lose power. Families must learn to celebrate God’s faithfulness, no matter how small the blessings may seem. Thanksgiving invites the presence of God and preserves the order He has established. “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV).

PRAYER POINTS

1. Lord Jesus Christ, restore divine order and Your peace in my home, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen

2. Holy Spirit, help us to walk in understanding, forgiveness, and constant gratitude, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen

3. Father, let Your presence continually dwell in my family, making our home a place of rest and glory, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

Psalm 128:3 KJV – “Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.”
