FAMILY ORDERLINESS (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: Joshua 24:15 KJV – “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve... but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Restoring divine order in a family begins with putting God at the center. Many homes lose peace because God has been replaced with human wisdom, culture, or selfish ambition. Joshua made a firm declaration to serve the Lord with his entire household, showing that family order starts from leadership submission to God. Until Christ becomes the head, confusion and division will continue to rule. True family alignment flows from obedience to the Word of God. 1 Corinthians 11:13

Order in the family requires that every member understands their divine role and fulfills it faithfully. The husband must lead with love and humility, the wife must support with respect and understanding, and children must obey with honor. When each member functions rightly, harmony becomes automatic. “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord… Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church” (Ephesians 5:22–25 KJV). A family that follows this order is unstoppable.

Beloved, it is never too late to restore divine order. If disorder has crept into your home, return to God in repentance and let His Spirit rebuild the foundation. Family altars of prayer, forgiveness, and unity must be restored daily. When God’s order is established, blessings, peace, and fruitfulness will overflow. Let Christ be enthroned again, and your home will become a dwelling place of His glory. PROVERBS 15:17

PRAYER POINTS:

1. My God and my Father, take Your rightful place in my home; let Your order and presence rule, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen

2. My Lord and my God, restore every broken foundation in my family and let peace reign again, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen

3. Holy Spirit, empower us to walk in love, submission, and unity according to Your divine order, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

Psalm 127:1 KJV – “Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.”
