FAMILY ORDERLINESS

KEY TEXT: 1 Corinthians 14:40 KJV – “Let all things be done decently and in order.”

God is a God of order, not confusion. From creation, He set everything in its rightful place and expects His children to live by the same divine pattern. When a family follows God’s order—husbands leading in love, wives supporting in submission, and children obeying with honor—the peace of God fills that home. Where there is disorder, strife and division take over, but where there is order, the presence of God dwells continually. “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace…” (1 Corinthians 14:33 KJV).

An orderly home invites the blessing of God. When love and unity flow among family members, God commands His blessing to rest there. “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity… for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore” (Psalm 133:1–3 KJV). A family walking in divine order will enjoy peace, divine protection, and increase in all areas. God cannot bless disorder; He only multiplies what reflects His nature.

Beloved, family orderliness is a reflection of your obedience to God’s Word. When order is maintained, confusion disappears, and grace abounds. A peaceful, godly home becomes a testimony to others and a dwelling place for divine favor. Every believer must therefore strive to maintain order by prayer, humility, and submission to the Word of God.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, establish Your divine order in my home and let peace reign, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen

2. Lord Jesus Christ, remove every form of confusion and strife from my family, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

3. My Father and my God, make my home a reflection of heaven on earth through love and unity, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
