FAITH: THE CALL TO UNCOVER COVERED SIN
KEY TEXT: Proverbs 28:13 KJV, “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy."
COVERING SIN IS DEADLY: When one covers their sin, it may look like God cannot see. It may appear that it resides only in your heart, but God is not silent or asleep concerning sin in your life. There will be surprises on that day, and in order for you not to be a candidate of surprise, expose the works of darkness and Christ will receive you. Ask the Lord to expose what you have done in time past and covered, so you can do the needful before it is too late. It is better the Lord disgraces us to embrace us, flogs us into heaven than pet us into hell. Psalms 69:5
CONFESSION BRINGS CLEANSING: God urges us to confess our sins and not hide them. Expose them! God already knows about them, but He wants you to repent. When we humbly confess and forsake, the Lord shows us His mercies. Do away with any pride or shame that would stop you from confessing that sin, and look at the peace and joy that awaits such a one that confesses it. It is only folly for one to think they can sin and hide it away from their Maker. 1 John 1:9
THE BLOOD IS THE SOLUTION: He was made naked on the cross so that we will not be naked on the last day. He was without covering on the cross to cover our sins for us. Let the blood of Jesus remove and thoroughly cleanse and blot out that sin once and for all. His blood is there for you as long as you have breath of life. Any habit that is taking you out of the love of God needs to be dealt with as soon as possible. 1 John 1:7
PRAYER:
O Lord, help me not to cover my sin so that I will not be surprised at the last day when it will be too late to repent in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

Romans 3:23 KJV: "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

1. O Lord, search my heart and expose every hidden sin in my life; give me the grace to confess and forsake them so that I may obtain Your mercy in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen
2. Father, destroy every spirit of pride, shame, and deception that wants me to cover my sins instead of repenting in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen
3. Lord Jesus, let Your precious blood cleanse me from every sin and unrighteousness, and restore my fellowship with You in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen
4. Father, give me the grace to live a life of holiness and sincerity before You, so that I will not be put to shame on the last day in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen
